1. Introduction

Welcome to moekawadesk (the “Store”, “we”, “us”). By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Store. Operator details are listed on our Legal Notice page.

2. Using the Store

You agree to provide accurate order and delivery information and to use the Store only for lawful, personal purposes. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Store only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Products

We sell original and generic kawaii desk goods. We do not sell licensed character merchandise, and our products are not affiliated with or endorsed by any character brand. Product colors and textures may vary slightly from photos due to screens and production lots.

4. Orders & payment

Prices are displayed in the currency of your market — US dollars (USD) for customers in the United States and most international destinations, and Japanese Yen (JPY) in Japan. Your card issuer may apply its own conversion rates or fees. A contract is formed when your payment is completed and we confirm your order. We may refuse or cancel an order in cases such as suspected fraud, stock unavailability, or an obvious pricing error — if payment was already taken, it will be refunded.

5. Shipping & delivery

Shipping terms, delivery estimates, and customs responsibilities are set out in our Shipping Policy. Import duties and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.

6. Returns & refunds

We accept returns only for damaged, defective, or incorrect items as set out in our Refund Policy. Change-of-mind returns are not accepted. Nothing in these terms affects non-waivable statutory rights under the laws of your country of residence.

7. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, photographs, illustrations, and branding — is owned by us or our licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use it commercially without our prior written permission.

8. Prohibited conduct

You must not misuse the Store, including by attempting unauthorized access, placing fraudulent orders, scraping content at scale, or interfering with the Store’s operation.

9. Suspension

We may suspend or refuse service to anyone who violates these terms or applicable law.

10. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The Store is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Store, and our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Governing law & jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Osaka District Court, Japan.
